Regarding the actual building, your Atella will be delivered completely turn-key.
This includes; kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, lighting fixtures, flooring, washroom and kitchen hardware, kitchen cabinetry and even the front door lock. Truly move-in ready!
The average time it takes for us to deliver our product is 120 days; fully assembled and installed in your backyard. Having said that, permitting and weather are out of our control and may delay the process.
Atella offers a comprehensive one year warranty on our installation. In addition, each of our builds have a Tarion New Home Warranty which is up to 7 years.
Site work begins with surveying your property, locating your utilities and submitting a permit. Once we have approvals from your municipality, we can begin the next stage of work which includes; pouring the cement foundation and connecting your utilities from your principal home (sewer, electrical and water lines).
Our construction teams are professionals that have been expertly trained to assemble your Atella. If any problems arise, you can always contact your Atella guide who will answer any questions or concerns you may have right away.
Most municipalities in Ontario have passed by-laws that allow for an "ADU" (accessory dwelling unit) in the backyards of single family home lots (detached, semi-detached and townhomes). To be sure, please contact us and we will be happy to review your property and confirm its eligibility (in just a few days and absolutely for free!).
Yes! We pride ourselves on offering a fixed price to all of our customers. Once we have reviewed your particular backyard, we will offer a single price for the entire process that accounts for any site conditions and unit upgrades. Our prices are fully transparent.
10% is due on signing the proposal.
20% is due on submitting your permit application.
20% is due at the beginning of site work.
The balance is due on the first day of assembly of your Atella.
Yes, absolutely! You have many options. Traditional options like a HELOC, home equity loan or a renovation loan are available.
Atella also provides our customers financing options for up to 100% of the purchase price.
Once we have reviewed your property, we will offer a set price for your property in your proposal. That price is inclusive and final.

Yes you do. Once we have a signed proposal - we will prepare and submit a building permit on your behalf.
There is a cost to prepare the permit application and an additional cost for the actual permit. The good news is that BOTH are included in our Atella price.
Because we have a standardized model - building department staff become familiar with our product. This tends to expedite permitting significantly - sometimes by up to 80%!
